We’ve been using Office XP for way too long, but it did everything we needed it to do so there was no reason to upgrade.

When my wife got a new laptop, some of the software she uses under Windows 7 wouldn’t work with Office XP, and we were forced to bite the bullet and upgrade to the current version. And it honestly isn’t bad! Very different coming from something so old, but there are a lot of improvements that make it worthwhile.

I’m not crazy about how Microsoft changed around it’s various licensing schemes and the cost of upgrading, but the Home and Student version hits the sweet spot of giving us what we needed without too extreme a cost.

If you only need the basic applications in Office, and it’s time to upgrade, this package is definitely worth a look.

In my opinion, the hype is all this book has. I have spent my life reading most of the classics, along with best sellers, biographies, etc. I stopped counting when I got to 10,000 books read, about 13 years ago, so I consider myself to be a book connoisseur. This Catcher in the Rye is one book I wish I never read. Actually I didn’t even bother to finish it, because it is such a waste of paper and time. If you want to read a great coming of age book, read A Separate Peace or A Prayer for Owen Meany. If you want to read about a real hero, read The Real George Washington.

I know this won’t get me a lot of “helpful” votes, but I have to say it. I am not a big Will Smith fan. I don’t like Science Fiction. Hated “Prince of Bel Aire.” Thought Men in Black was slack! But I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It really is fantastic!

I have to say first of all, major kudos to the Music arranger and music writers. I really loved the soundtrack selection, as well as the original sound recordings for this movie. From the first hit song, playing during the opening arrangement, Hitche’s intro, to the final notes, every song is dead on, and perfect.

Michael Rappaport. Can somebody explain to me why this guy isn’t a bigger star getting bigger roles? Is he somebody’s buddy? He plays every part he’s in perfectly, and I wish we could see more of him. He’s in one short bar scene playing pool with Will Smith’s character, as we get to know who Hitch really is.

I also like Eva Mendes, and the other smaller roles throughout. And of couse, Kevin James steals every scene he is in. He really is a great physical comedian. Every scene he is in made me scream with laugher. I’m exaggerating a bit, but you know what I mean.

I originally watched this on the UMD on my PSP, but I also rented it on DVD, and enjoyed the extras very much. Commentary is great, and enjoyable. I liked learning about the decisions about soundtrack, especially since I enjoyed it so much.

Great twin storylines between Hitch and the Kevin James character. I liked the dance scene at the end, at their wedding. I really liked this movie!

I’d heard about Linux for years and had been wanting to use it. I didn’t know where to start, though. My biggest concern was not damaging my current Windows XP configuration. I also wanted to know how I could use Linux on a daily basis. All these issues were addressed by this book. If you’re an semi-experienced Windows user but know nothing about Linux, this book is for you. It is written in an easy to understand way that covers Linux’s inception and installation. All in all, I would recommend this book.
Beginning Ubuntu Linux Second

I found this book to be a very touching story with an interesting setting. The time period, the place, and the characters come to life in this wonderful story. I don’t want to give too much away but if you enjoy a book that makes you feel as though you are there…this is one! There were times while reading this I wanted to throw a few punches, and other times I wanted to stand between August & Rosie, and times I just wanted to pat the hand of the older Jacob. I’m sorry I finished this book…I will miss these characters.

Bought this cable to connect my cable box to my Toshiba HD TV. Worked fine at first but I was having to reboot my cable box every morning, sometimes twice a day. Had the cable company out for a couple of service calls, replaced the cable box 3 times, no change. Unplugged the HDMI cable and everything is back to normal again. Only cost $3 so I’m just going to chalk this up to a learning experience. Ya gets what ya pays for.

These bottles are good enough in a pinch if other bottles are in dishwasher, but they are not my preferred bottle. Part of the problem is they are so wide that it’s hard for my baby to hold it herself. Also, the way they are designed makes it nearly impossible for her to get the last ounce or so of formula on her own. I have to practically hold the bottle at a 90 degree angle to get it in the nipple.
The First Years Soothie

This is a great scale. I have purchased more expensive scales from big box stores and they never seem to last long (it may be because our family is heavy). We’ve had this scale for about a month and love it! Incredibly accurate and consistent. Great company!
