I regret the negativity of this review, since I am a big fan of Apple products. (I have owned a half dozen ipods over the years.) I bought the Itouch about a year ago, and enjoyed using it a great deal. Both useful and fun. But I spent hours over the phone with technicians trying to work out problems connecting the Itouch with my wireless network. Then the warranty ran out and — poof — no more access to any wireless network. Took it to the Apple Store for repairs — no dice. Lesson: $200 is too much to spend on a device that lasts only one year. Too bad — one faithful customer now unsatisfied.

I have to say I have not been using my Kindle as much as I would like to, but when I do it’s just so easy to fall into my digital books. I feel better that I’m not creating more waste by buying books and it’s easy to operate, etc. Overall, I’m very satisfied. I also use the Kindle app on my iPhone. For those who don’t want to spend the money, I think that’s a great alternative. I end up using that one more often out of convenience and it works much much better than the B&N one that crashed every single time I tried to use it. I’ve read alot of my books on the iPhone and some on my Kindle.

Since so many people have reviewed this item, I thought I would be more location specific and also mention a few points that might not be obvious.

One. I live in Modiin, Israel. The GPS maps the route but unfortunately (and I expected this) the Garmin maps are non-existent for Modiin. I suspect that this might change now that Garmin are selling GPS for cars here in Israel. The ability to view your route in Google Earth is cute to, but the roads don’t display in Google Earth either. Neither of these things are actually a problem at all for running but I thought I should point it out.

The GPS has multiple configurable screens and I like to have one of the screens displaying (amongst other things) the GPS accurance. This shows you how accurate and quickly it gets a reading. For some of my run the accurance is 8m which is very impressive.

I also love the fact that you can switch the light on and leave it on for the run. I go out for an hour in the morning and it’s usually before sunrise (which is also one of the options so you can see what time it’s going to get late). It’s nice to have the light on the whole time. I plug in the watch into my laptop to sync and whilst it’s syncing it also charges and quite kindly lets you know when charging is complete.

I’ve only had this a week and used it for 4 runs, but so far I’m very happy.

I have used Microsoft Office for years and it is a very good product. Suggestion: If you have the trial version on your computer, call Microsoft Technical support and they will suggest that you uninstall the trial version and they will walk you through installing this CD version.

I have used several different carpet cleaners and most have had really good results.
The Hoover Steamvac is the best by far. It got every single stain out of my carpet
plus made the pile stand up just like it was new. I love it!

This cable works just as well as any high dollar cable (such as Monster). The connectors are not gold plated like Monster cables are, but I guarantee you TV or BluRay/Sat aren’t either. So, having Gold on the cable does absolutely no good preventing oxidation since the plug will oxidize, even if the cable does not.

I’ve been a broadcast engineer for 27 years, and I can unequivocally say gold plating does absolutely no good. This cable works perfectly, meets all of the fastest speed specs, and is working perfectly for me in mission critical areas at the station.

Save $100. Buy this cable.

Skinit Protective Skin for

If your N-Strike gun runs the clip feature for ammo, be sure to grab these. The other darts don’t work very well in the clips, they jam th gun, get stuck “dripping” out of the gun, etc. These are the only ones besides the whistle darts that will work in the clips. Believe me, we’ve tried! If Santa is bringing a clip gun, be sure to grab these. I’d try at the local r-us store first or target. They’re tons cheaper than this really high price of twenty bucks. Can’t hardly believe they’re this high here. Highly recommend!

After reading the first fifty or so pages, I stopped and thought that surely someone is going to make a movie out of this book. It is definitly the best book I’ve read in years. And Kathryn Stockett truly speaks the voice of southern women. As a Yankee transplant now in her 25th year in the South, this voice I know well and this is “it”.

Fortunately I can happily add that the racist voices you hear in this book are from the past. You would have to dig far and deep here in the South to find these attitudes anymore in educated women. And with that I’m not going to say anything more lest I spoil it for those who haven’t read the book yet. But please, don’t hesitate. It’s wonderful.

To whoever makes this movie, please don’t ruin it by putting someone from up north in it with a fake Southern accent. It will kill the movie.

No complaints at all. A fraction of the price of other cables in stores, and this one works just great for me. Would definitely buy again if I ever need more.
