The pedometer seems to work great. I wish it were a little smaller, but other than that I’m pleased with it.

This book is targeted at the person who wants to build an intranet for a small to medium sized business using Linux servers.
A well written and well structured book it starts with the basics of configuring Linux (using Red Hat), building a kernel suited for networking, configuring Ethernet and dialling using PPP. After this thorough grounding it goes on to file sharing using NFS, Samba and netatalk and printer sharing. Once you’ve covered these sections you can connect to your Linux server from other Unix boxes, Windows or a Macintosh, indeed using this book I set up a Linux server to act as a bridge between Macs, Windows 95 and NT servers and two Sun workstations.
It then covers remote login, either using shell protocols telnet or ssh, or X logins using VNC or X Server. Finally it has two chapters on IP masquerading and firewalls.
OK, go over that list again – every aspect of building an intranet is covered.
Having used this book extensively I’ve found its flaw. When everything works this book is great. Once you run into problems it is less useful. The large amount of ground covered means that Smith has glossed over likely problems and solutions. Troubleshooting is ignored almost entirely.
I would recommend this book as a good beginners guide to building an intranet around Linux to almost everyone with the caveat that you may need more specific information in some areas when you run into serious trouble. If nothing else it is marvellous inspiration.

My son loves this toy! He first played with it in his crib by kicking it until the smilely face would light up and play music. He would smile at it the minute he saw it! Now that he can sit up he plays with both sides of the toy either in the floor position or hanging from his play-yard. It has been interesting to see him prefer different activities on the center as he has grown. Now he can even toggle some of the “swithches” on the “older baby” side.
he will play with this toy for quite a while which I have found to be true with all the Tiny Love toys we have purchased. They sure know how to make something that keeps a baby’s attention.

Bought a nerf sniper gun for my little brother and got the extra darts since you can never find them all after shooting the gun.
Fun Nerf gun and accessories.

This portable mount is a great tool. We often take our GPS off the dash to hide it when we aren’t in the car, and it can be placed on the floor board of your vehicle and the thieves don’t know you have one. You can also throw it in the seat next to you or place it on your console to get a better look at it or hear it better if the road noise is too loud.

I bought this card just October 2009. I used this card on my Canon EOS T1i. At first, some pictures got corrupted every now and then. Then two days ago, when I format the card on my camera since it is always acting up, the camera cannot save pictures to it anymore. When I try to transfer image the pictures in my computer, the data cannot be read by the computer anymore.
I also have the 16GB of the same brand SD card, which I bought last December. No such luck! My T1i almost always cannot recognize the card. I have to turn on and off the camera or format it repeatedly before it can recognize it. I think I’m done with this brand. I ordered the Sandisk SD card now. I hope I will have some luck on this brand.

Great product, although the time in seconds it takes the device to link to the satellites could be improved.
